Happy 7th Birthday, Talk Fusion!
Happy 7th Birthday, Talk Fusion!
Birthdays are both a cause for celebration and a time for reflection. As Talk Fusion hits seven years old today (Happy Birthday!) we take a moment to reflect on where we began before we take a peek at where we’re going.
Seven years old. Lucky number 7. It’s definitely seven years of good luck as Talk Fusion has grown into a major player in both the direct selling and online video industries. It’s even more amazing when you realize how far technology has come in just the last seven years.
Think about it. 2007. It doesn’t seem that long ago, but so much has changed since then. In 2007:
MySpace was the leading social media network. Facebook – only 3 years old at the time – wouldn’t overtake it until 2008.
Apple releases the first generation of the iPhone.
Microsoft releases their brand-new operating system: Vista!
AOL, once the biggest ISP in the U.S., announces it will instead refocus and become an advertising business.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average closes above 14,000 for the first time in history.
The final Harry Potter book is released (the movie version wouldn’t come out for another 3 years).
The Sopranos is the big winner at the Emmy Awards.
That was the landscape in the year that Founder & CEO Bob Reina launched Talk Fusion, a business opportunity that was ahead of its time then – and still is seven years later. Since then, we’ve seen the implementation of the World’s First Instant Pay Compensation Plan. Incentive trips to Hawaii? Yep, they’re in there. Free Mercedes Benz payments to qualifying Associates? Yeah, that happened too. A meteoric rise to thousands of Associates in over 140 countries and Talk Fusion is still going strong.
It all started with the creation of Video Email (AOL said it couldn’t be done – look where they are today), followed by Video Newsletters, Video Auto-Responders, E-subscription Forms, Fusion On the Go Mobile Apps and even more products that embrace the power of online video. When new WebRTC technology hit the scene, allowing for more powerful real-time communications, Talk Fusion was an early adopter and leaped ahead of the competition with our innovative Talk Fusion CONNECT, with Live Broadcasting, Video Conferencing and Desktop Share. So after seven years, where does that leave us? According to Talk Fusion Director of Technology Dr. Jonathan Chen, “About 5 years ahead of the pack!” That means in 2019 our competitors will just be arriving where we already are! How far ahead can we get as we keep innovating?
Certainly with the amazing amount of new products and releases ready for launch in the near future – including the VOICE social media community, CONNECT Quick Chat, sleek new revisions to the Back Office and other cool innovations we can’t even tell you about yet – Talk Fusion will be here to celebrate another successful seven years and another after that and another…
